Feature
We tell you before it becomes a problem.
No spam, no empty alerts. Seven contextual categories cover the essentials: late payments, fiscal deadlines, exports ready, entity invitations. You look at the app, you know what needs attention.
Day-to-day use cases
- Get a heads-up 15 days before the VAT deadline, not on the 21st itself
- Receive an alert when an invoice goes overdue (beyond your tolerance)
- Know an .fbudget export is ready to download without reloading the page
- See accepted entity invitations and activate the member immediately
How it works
- 1Notifications are generated by the engine server-side, not by your browser.
- 2You see real-time counters (badges) in the sidebar: invoices to classify, upcoming deadlines, critical treasury alerts.
- 3You can enable/disable each type independently via your preferences.
- 4Email notifications for critical events (export ready, payment received, entity invite); in-app for the rest.
Details that make the difference
7 alert types: overdue invoices · invoices to issue · reimbursements to validate · salary to declare · other income received · VAT deadline · critical treasury alerts.
Contextual badges: each module has its counter in the sidebar, criticality visible by color (green/orange/red).
Granular preferences: `NotificationPreference` per user, on/off per type and per channel (in-app, email).
Proactive emails for entity invitations, exports ready, payments received — events where you wouldn't actively check the app.
Frequently asked questions
Will I drown in emails?
No. Seven types max, and only critical notifications (export ready, entity invitation, payment received) are sent by email. In-app badges cover the rest.
What if I want to disable some notifications?
Each type can be disabled independently (in-app + email separately) via your user preferences. Keep what serves you, mute the rest.
What happens if an event occurs while I'm not logged in?
The notification is created and stays available when you come back. No loss. For critical events, an email is also sent.
