Feature

One score to know where you stand.

Like a credit score for your freelance business. Five weighted dimensions, real-time calculation, and actionable optimization tips for each weak dimension.

Day-to-day use cases

  • Glance and know if your business is healthy or if something is creaking
  • Identify concrete improvement levers (chase an invoice, diversify your clients)
  • Discuss with your accountant on hard data, not gut feeling
  • Track 12-month evolution — the score should rise when you make good decisions

How it works

  1. 1
Five dimensions are computed independently: Collection (on-time vs late payments), Runway (months of cash), Margin (revenue - charges), Diversification (client concentration), Regularity (monthly revenue variance).
  2. 2
Each dimension is scored 0-100, weighted by your profile (beginner vs established).
  3. 3
The overall score is the weighted average of the 5.
  4. 4
For each dimension < 70, the app generates an actionable `OptimizationTip` ("chase these 3 invoices", "diversify this client at 65% of your revenue").

Details that make the difference

5 dimensions: Collection, Runway, Net margin, Client diversification, Revenue regularity.

Adaptive weighting: a beginner weights Collection+Runway more (60% of score). An established freelancer weights Margin+Diversification more (50% of score).

Actionable tips: each dimension < 70 → 1-3 concrete suggestions tied to your data.

12-month history: see the score's evolution over time, identify when it shifted.

Frequently asked questions

Why 5 dimensions and not just one?

Because one metric never captures financial health. You can have high revenue but 70% from one client (= fragile). You can have low margin but huge cash. The 5 dimensions cover the blind spots.

What's it actually used for?

Three uses: (1) quick self-assessment when you return to the app, (2) accountant discussion on hard data, (3) annual evolution tracking (the score should rise if you make good decisions).

How do I improve it?

For each weak dimension, precise tips: "chase invoice X overdue 23 days", "your client Acme is 68% of revenue — prospect elsewhere", etc. No fluffy "do better" advice.
